Rabi Maharaj descended from a long line of Brahmin Hindu priests and gurus and trained as a Yogi at a very young age. After a difficult search for truth and meaning, he eventually became a follower of Christ. He did pre-medical studies in the U.K. and the USA and then went on to study Theology and Philosophy in preparation for full-time Christian service. He lectures worldwide on world problems, world cultures, and world religions from a Christian perspective. His great joy is preaching the Gospel of Jesus. His autobiography "Death of a Guru", in which he shares his spiritual journey from Hinduism to Christ, is published in 75 languages, mostly royalty-free. An estimated 5 million copies are in print worldwide. It has been a best-seller in 20 countries. He and his wife Franci have four adult children and four wonderful grandchildren.
