Ultrasound is one of the most useful and appropriate medical diagnostic tools for Global Health and for practice in resource limited situations. We will use portable and hand help ultrasound to demonstrate and teach some basic skills to students, residents and practicing health care providers during our workshop.

Objectives

1. Understand applications and indications for ultrasound in Global situations
2. Develop basic skills in performing ultrasound
3. Motivate participants for further training and skill acquisition for ultrasound
