This workshop will focus on human trafficking for the healthcare provider. Current research shows that health services are one of the top five access points of help for a human trafficking victim. Studies report 20-80% of the trafficked population in the United States had accessed the healthcare system while they were being trafficked. Healthcare providers are poised to help this population.
