I am currently medical director of UMMAM, an FQHC in a culturally diverse area of southwest Kansas that serves patients including migrants and refugees of more than 16 ethnic groups. We are passionate about connecting healthcare providers with the physical and spiritual needs of people locally and internationally. Our physicians are given 8 weeks of PTO per year to allow for mission involvement, and we also encourage relationship-building & ministry with the refugee and migrant populations right in our "own back yard." Check us out at www.ummam.org.
