Risk It!To become the person God wants you to be and to accomplish what God wants you to do, you must take risks. Risk is the fertilizer that grows your faith and bears spiritual fruit for God’s Kingdom. Are you willing to risk it?”

Challenge yourself to “get out of the boat” by taking one intentional, faith-driven step forward: 1. Identify a Fear or Barrier Reflect on an area of your life, work, or community where you’ve sensed God leading you—yet fear, uncertainty, or hesitation has held you back. 2. Take One Intentional Step Do something practical and meaningful you’ve been reluctant to try. Consider steps that stretch your faith and expand your impact, such as: Volunteering in your community Reaching out to support refugees or newcomers Signing up for a local or short-term mission opportunity Initiating a faith-centered conversation at work Reconnecting with someone you know you need to reconcile with Offering prayer for a coworker, patient, or neighbor Meeting with a pastor or mentor to discuss a calling you’ve been avoiding Contacting a missions sending agency to begin exploring long-term placement Starting the application process for a residency, fellowship, or program that aligns with a calling you’ve been hesitant to pursue Taking the first step toward raising support or preparing for cross-cultural ministry Setting a concrete date to visit a ministry, missions organization, or underserved community you feel drawn to Choose one step—big or small—that requires courage. 3. Share Your Experience After you take your step, share your story with others—your small group, friends, or online. Encourage others by posting what you did, how it felt, and what you learned.
