Inspired by the conversation with Dr. Ashita Singh on the Global Missions Health Conference Podcast, this week’s challenge invites you to take one intentional step outside your comfort zone in service to others. Whether you’re a student, healthcare professional, or passionate about missions, let Dr. Singh’s example guide you in living your faith through action. Step 1: Identify Someone on the Margins Look for an individual or group in your community who may be overlooked, suffering, or in need of dignity—just as Ashita Singh serves those needing palliative care. Step 2: Offer Tangible Compassion Reach out with genuine care, conversation, or practical support. Ideas include: Volunteering locally Offering a listening ear Advocating for better healthcare access Providing material support or mentorship Step 3: Practice Radical Surrender Let go of your carefully made plans and ask, “What does radical surrender to God look like for me?” Be open to a new direction—even if it feels uncomfortable or unexpected. Step 4: Share What You Learn Afterward, reflect on your experience: How did stepping out in faith change your perspective? How did your actions impact others? Share your story with your peers to inspire further action and build a culture of compassion in our community. Remember: This challenge is about living your faith, not just feeling inspired. Let’s be a community known for surrender, compassion, and tangible action—transforming both our neighborhoods and ourselves.
