The opioid crisis is top news and top of mind, and with this realization, many are seeking alternative pain care such as acupuncture. There are now over 700 addiction centers offering acupuncture as an alternative and/or adjudicative therapy. Many patients and their doctors must prepare for an alternative plan to pain management because of the risk of addiction.
