About the organization

Since 1987, Project C.U.R.E. has been delivering life-saving medical supplies and equipment to hospitals and clinics throughout the developing world.  Today, Project C.U.R.E. is the world's largest distributor of donated medical relief, touching the lives of patients, families, and children in more than 130 countries.  Project C.U.R.E. operates six distribution warehouses (Denver, Houston, Nashville, Phoenix, Philadelphia and Chicago) and collection centers in nearly 20 cities across the U.S. These warehouses regularly ship containers filled with much needed medical supplies with an average value of $400,000.  The average cost to deliver a container is $20,000. We say, "A nickel invested delivers $1 worth of medical relief."

Project C.U.R.E. is regularly ranked among the top charities in America by Charity Navigator, The Chronicle of Philanthropy and Forbes.  Hundreds of people travel with Project C.U.R.E. to provide medical treatment and training.  Volunteers are needed in our Houston warehouse to help in a variety of areas - warehousing, procurement/driving, sorting, etc.

At the heart of Project C.U.R.E. are people like you.  We look forward to having you get involved.  For more information, visit our website at projectcure.org, or contact our local office at 832-251-2489.

Together we can change the world.
