Talking about missions is not complete until there is dialogue and awareness about missionary kids and their unique third culture kid experience. Personal and professional experience has shown that raising a family overseas can make or break the ability for missionaries to stay or leave the field. One major hurdle is the question of how to meet the spiritual, social and academic needs of missionary kids. The session will try to alleviate fears, answer questions and give practical advice and tips for those preparing to go as well as those who are already there. The session hopes to make TCKS and missionary families feel seen and heard.
