Suturing Workshop

A hands-on workshop to develop suturing skills designed for all audiences regardless of background, experience, or training. A trauma surgeon will walk you through different types of wounds, sterile technique, types of instruments, anesthetics, suture and needle types, and knot tying. The majority of the workshop will be focused on practicing different suturing techniques. By the end of this session, attendees should have acquired the basics of the highly portable skill of suturing, which they can take with them anywhere in the world.
