The Great Command and the Great Commission call us to love and to make disciples of our monotheistic neighbors. Christians in medicine are wonderfully placed at the juxtaposition of these two commands. In this session, we draw on the experience of the past 36 years of medical missions in a fundamentalist Muslim society, to identify some of those unnecessary barriers, to see how medical care can help to surmount them, to offer practical suggestions, and some of the joys and privilege in this.
