R. N. Beth has lived in Southeast Asia for the last 6 years where she educated groups from the predominate local religion about HIV/AIDS, and in the last few years focused on rural community health development. She has worked hard to establish an effective relationship with the community working alongside village leaders, religious leaders and the influential witchdoctors. Despite the local government erecting a small health facility, she prefers to go from home to home, sipping tea as she teaches both villagers and local nurses who are currently running the programs in her absence.
