Tear Down Crew Members of our tear-down crew must be able bodied as they will be assisting our Missions team with tear down, pack up, transport, and storage of displays, signage, and other items. Breakout Session Assistant We are looking for volunteers to assist us with our breakout session rooms. This volunteer will be responsible for the following things: Counting how many attendees attended the session & record number in provided packet Closing rooms that are at capacity (following fire code) If an IT need arises, notifying volunteer coordinator so it can be resolved Be available to assist the breakout session speaker with distribution or collection of materials This volunteer will need to remain in the breakout session room for the entirety of the session. This volunteer will also need to feel comfortable with closing rooms that are at capacity and communicating this with breakout session attendees.

Exhibit Hall Team Members of this team assist us in our exhibit halls. You will be helping our wonderful exhibitors cart boxes to their booths, setting up QR code signage, checking-in exhibitors, and assisting with our exhibitor hospitality room. Please note to serve in this role you will need to feel comfortable with standing for short periods of time, walking short distances, assisting with check-in tables, and delivering boxes via rolling carts to various booth spaces.

Shine Cafe Volunteer The Shine Café is a small coffee shop that offers a warm environment staffed by volunteers with disabilities serving alongside their friends and peers.Our Shine Cafe team needs some additional volunteers during the conference. Our Shine Cafe leader will train you 30 minutes before shift begins. You will need to be ministry safe cleared. Please reach out to our Shine Cafe Manager if you have questions.

Commitment Card Team Members of this team help us distribute our GMHC Commitment Cards at the last plenary session on Saturday morning. You will stand at the various entry points to the worship center and give each conference attendee one commitment card to fill out. Please note you will need to be comfortable with standing for a period of time. At the end of the plenary session, we will collect the cards from the stage and deliver them back to the volunteer coordinator in ATLR 202.

Disaster Response Service Project Disaster Response We are looking for volunteers to assist us with the set-up of our Disaster Relief Immersion experience. This Disaster Relief Immersion will allow GMHC attendees to experience what is like to be a victim of a disaster. In addition, our attendees will be a part of a service project with our partner, Convoy of Hope, in building clean-up kits that will go directly to those impacted by disasters. This volunteer help us set up the service project area, along with restocking supplies for the clean-up kits so attendees can assemble them properly with all items in the correct order. This role requires you to be outdoors so please dress appropriately for the weather
