Meeting Overview

Saline Process is an international equipping process that trains Christian healthcare workers to better integrate their faith and healthcare practice. The training is designed for international and secular healthcare settings and provides concepts and practical tools that healthcare workers can use in their daily interactions with patients. The Biblically based teaching is relevant to different cultures and healthcare settings and has been taught on every continent. After completing the Saline Process, participants should be able to assess a patient’s attitude toward Christ and know how to respond appropriately, applying the ethical principles of permission, sensitivity, and respect.

The material is presented as a 10-hour workshop featuring didactic content, role playing and small group breakouts. The video on the IHS Global webpage provides a brief introduction to Saline Process: https://www.ihsglobal.org/SalineProcess
