Grace Tazelaar
I have served in both foreign and domestic missions as a nurse. I am committed to provided wholistic healthcare through spiritual care.
I taught nursing for 12 years prior to going to Uganda East Africa with the Christian Reformed Church. In Uganda, I did community health development, organization capacity building, and was involved in the initial response to HIV/AIDS. Upon returning to the US, I spent 8 years in Mississippi encouraging the development of lay health programs around the the country. In 1999, I joined the staff of Nurses Christian Fellowship, a strategic ministry of InterVarsity Christian Fellowship, and serve as the Missions Director. In this capacity, I serve nursing students and nurses who are interested in using their professional skills among the poor and underserved both in the US and abroad.
