I returned a few weeks ago from an exciting trip to Kilonga THV and Malindi THV in Eastern Kenya and was able to see how Empowered the community is and the Joy of the Lord clearly reflected in multiple faces. Since I know several of them from right when we launched the Kilonga THV program in 2008, it was very encouraging to see how much they have been transformed and grown over the years!
Please pray for:
-continued availability of funds for surgeries for the Lymphatic Filariasis related complications (severe Hydrocele)
-we need volunteer surgeons to help at the LF surgical camps
-for mobilizing the multiple churches in the area
-for our plans to launch a massive LF control program in the region
-we were also able to measure several new things like the 'Empowerment Index' , the 'program effectiveness profile' and the 'Happiness Index'
