On the second week of the July I went to Jinja, Uganda. My main mission there was to support my good friend who was a missionary for an organization call 'Boaz Project'. During my time in Jinja, I attended a small Baptist Church whom were not very familiar with clean water and the affects it has on the body. Little did I know, most villages were lacking sanitation nor knew about save sex. One surprising aspect came to my realization of how much they actually knew about Jesus, but had very little resources to learn more. In that week, we took some time to sit down and just pray with them. Teach them to boil water before consuming it and not to practice sex with each other just because you are bored, but rather give them proper education on sanitation and proper educate with each other so they may continue on teaching it to their next generation. One of our prayers had been answered, 'Boaz Project' associate who is a Register Travel Nurse (RN) went to few villages to treat children and their parents from parasites and the number one killer MALARIA.
Prayer Request: I would like to go back again, but this time for extended period and for a different purpose. Pray that the Lord will provide an opportunity to give health care and biblical education for the people in the village of Jinja, Uganda.
