April 2015 - Many people do not have access to medical care high up in the mountains of Ecuador. They might get an itinerant doctor once a month. Our team trained pastors, evangelists and midwives with basic medical skills and Helping Babies Breathe so that they can minister to their communities.
The students we trained had such gratefulness and humility that we were humbled. One woman especially stood out to us as she was overwhelmed with emotion when she received her certificate of training. We are so thankful to partner with these sweet people for the kingdom.
Our team enjoyed our time in Ecuador. We were about 11,000 feet in the mountains, so a couple of our members did experience altitude sickness.
