Dan Fountain is a medical missionary and served in the D.R.Congo from 1961 to 1996. With the Congolese church and medical leaders he helped build a comprehensive sustainable African Christian health servce serving a quarter of a million people. Since 1996 he has traveled extensively around the world to teach the principles and practices of community health and whole person care. He has written several books about this and is now on the faculty of Campbell University School of Osteopathic Medicine in North Carolina. He is a founding member of project MedSend and has served on the overseas faculty of CMDA since 1982.
