Hope Matters International serves in rural communities of Western Kenya as a medical mission. The Village of Hope Hospital is a 32-bed mission hospital that opened in 2020. Additionally, we operate a satellite clinic providing 24-hr urgent care and basic maternity services. We are growing and expanding to provide more specialty services in 2021. We exist to minister the love of Christ in a tangible way. We strive to do this by physically and spiritually reaching out to serve impoverished African families and individuals through community advancement, healthcare, and development programs.
Hope Matters was founded in 2013 and currently has several full-time missionary families serving in Kenya. This team is ready and excited to bring in new teammates to partner with our growing ministry. Often a great starting place is with a vision trip to learn more about the ministry in Kenya firsthand. Our team is ready and able to assist with fundraising tools, obtaining work permits, organizing housing, and creating a supportive environment for the transition to missional life in rural Africa. We are also a MedSend Associate, making our missionaries eligible to apply for loan repayment grants through MedSend.
