Completed MD in internal medicine in 2004, subsequently MA in Bioethics from TIU, Illinois, Fellowships in Infectious Disease and Palliative Care, working in resource limited settings in rural North Indian medical missions with Emmanuel Hospital Association for the last 18 years, started a home based palliative care service at current rural location 6 years ago, serving as head of EHA's palliative care service for the last 2 years
