i had a medical outreach to Lamwo and we were able to see over 1000 people in two days, it was a blessing, when arrived a this remote village we found over 200 people waiting and by the time we had finished to set up the clinic, there was a multitude of them, we were screening each one of them for malaria, typhoid, HIV, Diabetes, and so many other conditions. many of these people had never been to hospital and when we got there it was a miracle to them. it was a great time and great experience.

Hi Wycliffe! That's amazing! 1000 people in two days...I'm an engineering student currently working on a project to create a low-cost device that will screen for diabetes in low resource areas. I was wondering if you could tell me what device you currently use to screen for diabetes? Did you measure blood glucose or hemoglobin A1c? Thanks so much! You can reach me at glycodetect@gmail.com if it's more convenient for you.
