My name is Paul Kanaan. I live in Clinton town Michigan. After my one month mission trip with Love and serve Africa Uganda, my life has never been the same again. I have learned to appreciate God for my life and every blessing he has put in my life.
The smiles on love and serve Africa children's faces as I taught them Math, reading and writing will forever remain in my heart. The children are taught in a building with no windows , doors and they ease them selves in a latrine with no door hindering their privacy. I watched with sympathy as they moved long distances to attain free education at the center which freely educates orphans and vulnerable children. Let us continue to pray that God will touch more people to reach out to orphaned and vulnerable children in Africa. I will forever be grateful for my host family which made me fill at home. Everywhere I went, people gave me something to eat, invited me to their homes and called me “MUZUNGU” meaning white man! They were very friendly and greeted me a warm smile. My last day was indeed full of tears as the children brought me gifts in form of mats, and baskets as a way of appreciating my stay with them. I will forever be humbled by the love I was showed while on my first mission trip to Africa through Love and serve Africa. God bless you Africa and to all the little stars of Africa. You are not forgotten God knows your name.
Thank you Almighty God for this awesome mission trip.
